Success for new release from Microsoft as Gaming indust..

Much of the talk at present in the gaming world has been about the popularity of the new release for Sony, with the new model of the PlayStation. It has led to the new release from Microsoft and the Xbox Series X has gone under the radar. However, it has been the most successful UK launch of the console in their history, that saw them sell around 155,000 in the opening two days of release. It meant it surpassed the opening sales for the Xbox One and gives a positive sign for the future of next-gen consoles. This was still well behind the sales of the PS4, that topped a quarter of a million in the opening two days of release.

The new Xbox was expected to be a real game changer for the brand, with the console taking gaming to a new level. It has already gathered positive reviews for fans, so it is an exciting future ahead. Alongside the PS4, these are putting console gaming back on the map.
