Overview
In this new game of Tomb Raider:Underworld there is some new moves that have been added to her existing ones and some sweet puzzle and level designs. Great mixture of outdoor, underwater and underground locations makes it a fun adventurist one at that. The camera views could of been a lot better, they are still like previous Tomb Raider games. If your a big fan of the Tomb Raider series you will find that Lara Croft is starting show her age.
Gameplay
Well with the god awful camera issues and clipping does make this game sometimes disappointing say the least, yet though with many great levels that like stated before, change from outdoor, underground and underwater your adventures are endless almost that is as you can see pretty much were you can go and cant go. Everything starts out bad for Lara as she is racing to escape out of her burning mansion then goes back two weeks and she is taking care of her father's unfinished business which leads her to learn more about her mother and also the mythical Hammer of Thor.
Probably a very forgettable story line for those that are not hardcore Tomb Raider Fans to say the least but still a OK story line. If the Camera and clipping don't make you to mad maybe you can actually finish it, hope they come out with a update for this and fix the problem. There still is no cover system, so your still left to run and hide behind objects then run out and fire at your enemy and let alone that should be easy as they made the enemy's pretty stupid. Also there is not to many enemy's that bundle up so it will make it quite easy to beat the game. The AI and combat could of still had a working on as it still is on the lower side of things and while fighting is a small part in this game still could of made it a lot better.
You have a arsenal of weapons that you can choose from at the beginning of each mission, from pistols to assault rifles that fit in that nice little backpack of hers ha. Throughout the game the real challenge that they put into this game is in its puzzles, since the size of the levels can
get pretty big it sometimes takes a little while to figure them out and usually have you scowerling to look for keys or other items to activate mechanics in another part of the level.
Like i said before you might have to cover a lot of ground as how big the boards are but its all put together rather nicely so you shouldn't have to much of a problem finding anything. Another good feature in Tomb Raider is if you have any troubles you can go into her PDA and there are two levels of assistance available that will help you out if you need it. Just working your way through all the challenges in this game is still enjoyable and fun even though it lacks in a few areas but still yet a fun game to play. Lets just hope in the future they can do a little better job on the camera angles and other problems that you will see for yourself in the game.
Graphics
Graphics in this game are pretty stunning and realistic, they did a fine job on the graphic side of things for this game. Minus the poor clipping and camera issues, you still can enjoy it and hope like i said maybe they can put a update out there to fix most of the problems if not then we are just stuck with them i guess. They show Lara's age in this game for sure if you have played the other Tomb Raider games you will notice a difference. Like i said the graphics are pretty good in this game don't really have anything bad to say about the graphics.
Sound
Well they could of improved on the sound in some parts it was poorly voiced in my opinion i would say but other then that most of the sounds like background and all that are pretty good.
I could say the sound is actually pretty good throughout the game i should say its just some small parts that you have to really hear for to get it other then that its alright.
Overall
Well as you see i didn't get to much detail in the game mode as i wanted to leave it up to most of you to decide and if your into Tomb Raider Games im sure your going to get it no matter what, but i didn't want to ruin it for those hardcore fans out there. Great graphics, fun game play and some bad camera angles will keep you and your friends entertained for awhile as you go through killing enemy's and busting up some real-world and mythical beast. If your into solving puzzles this would also be a great game to own yourself as solving them is quite fun too.
