I dont know if the Guitar Hero Bass pedals would work on a Rock Band kit or not, but if they do I'd recommend getting a couple of those.
If you ever wanted to hook up a double-pedal setup the Guitar Hero pedals are the best to do it with.

Here's a small update for you all:
Yesterday I went to use my kit and noticed my red pad was pretty much dead. i thought that was gonna be it.
But...
I followed this little guide I found (dunno if its in our tuts sections or not) on how to repair the GHWT Drumkit: Drum Kit Repair Guide
I can confirm that this works!!
My red pad is working beautifully again after 3 spots of Hot Glue. It seems that little bit over-sensitive, but I had the sensitivity set to 10 / 20 (default) on all pads, all I'll have to do is drop it down to about 8 and it should be perfect.
One thing I did read however is that you shouldn't do this do pads that work fine already, as you can cause them to be over-sensitive.
Just quickly off-topic, this page also links to other repair guides for the GHWT Guitars, I might give the strumbar guide a go (my strumbar seems loose now since I've thrashed the hell out of it lol).

great job DJB.. I remember you pointing out that tutorial before.. I was going to try and add it to the database and credit the site but never got to it..
Did you end up taking any custom pics yourself??? Would it be hard to do to show your own tutorial in your own words.. I dont mind writing it bro if you just type something quick and shoot me a photo.. I bet lots of HQ guys will love you for it.;
Eitherway, if you dont have time i bet ill end up having to do it myself and will do a tut then!..
talk soon man, and great to hear your kick is going so well..
LAST QUESTION ABOUT DRUMKITS:
do you have many problems with your GHWT pedals??
They sent me like 3 new ones for all the mucking around and i swear like 2 are nearly broke.. .. Or you think its senstivity again,
ONE thing i did notice was that guitar hero metallica worked much better then ghwt and i didnt miss much on expert ++ for most of the older songs.. (not top set ofcourse) _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:

I didnt end up taking photos when I did it, since me and Bec were doing a million things as well as that. I'm planning on going back and putting a dob of hot glue on my blue pad aswell, so when I rip it open again I'll take some photos. The only prob is I dont have any photos of it untouched.
OK, Kick-Pedals. The only prob I've had with one of my pedals is the little black ciircle that sticks on to the base of the pedal (where the top part connects to it to register a kick), dunno if a little bit of super glue / hot glue could fix this also. I'm gonna do some reading and see if anyone else has had this problem.
BTW, glad to hear you finally got GH Metallica bro.

That guide I found was pretty good, as it covered the pads (red, blue, green) and also info on the Cymbals (yellow, orange). The only other mod I could think of now would be to replace the sensors entirely with better (more responsive ones). You've gotta think that the sensors wouldnt be that great of quality since the kits are mass-produced.
Yea I'm having fun with Expert+ too, finished a few songs with it. Next one to finish is One, I can get about 85% on it (I can get park the double-triplet bit easy).
