What do you mean by not working? And I had a problem when flashing my Hitachi 78. The monitor would start flashing random white pixels while loading the BIOS. I fixed that by plugging in the DVD Drive SATA to where the Hard Drive went, and the Hard Drive to where the DVD Drive was plugged in. _________________________________________________________

MS28 drives require the correct chipset.
Since it sounds like your booting from floppy drive I'm going to sugget looking into IPREP. It can be loaded onto a floppy disk or usb drive and you can flash or backup your firmware from there.
i may have just stumbled on the answer the 360 has not got the original dive it came with would this matter? it came with a Hitachi drive?

That shouldnt matter.. You can replace the drives but you need to do what's called spoofing of the drive..
You should be able to access the drive via your SATA cable.. If not it sounds like you should shell out $5 dollars USD and invest in a SATA card.. _________________________________________________________ HQ Network:
