I think it is really cool how they are making the environment impact on the levels like snow and dust storms. Should make for some very interesting multi player action.
On a side note. Did anyone hear that they arent having any dedicated servers for MW2 for the PC version. They have reinvented Battlenet and called it IWnet.
PC players are pissed on twitter, talking about cancelling the pre-orders.
Watch how quick they change their opinions when the game is released _________________________________________________________ Mattster

No sh** buddy. They should have been doing more of this a long time ago.
Now, One thing I love in games that you mostly see on PC and now in operation Flash point is progressive weather and time of day. I hope some day COD will have this feature. each map will have a timer attached to it through xbox live and will progress through a 24 hour cycle. so you may play a map and it be day time, if you play the same map later the map may be dusk or night. There are alot of COD4 maps that would have been awesome as night maps such as overgrown. Then throw in some random weather so you might play a map clear and sunny one time and next time it may be dark and foggy.
As long as we have game developers competing I am sure we will get this eventually.

Posted a version of this video but just replaced it with one without the lag You can almost taste the dirt, you are going to feel like you need a shower after going threw this map.
By the way, I saw an over head view of this map from the AC-130 view, it apears to be very tiny. Probably double the size of shipment.

right at the end when you see everyone running away, you get a feel of how tiny this map is.

I pre-ordered this ages ago and kinda forgot about it until I saw these trailers (launch and redcarpet) last week. I honestly cannot wait for this to come. I heard some people got their copy on saturday somehow? I was hoping mine woudl come a little earlier like monday but at least its only 2 days away - max!
Also, which one of these covers is the right one for uk?
