Just about, but most places have a different name for it, I think the Australians call it Guy Fawkes Eve? Or danger Night?
You guys celebrate it down under hobbs?

When i was younger we never really celebrated haloween but these days all the kids and everyone are into it. DJB even has organised a halloween party which i hope i can try to make.. At this stage no because of work..
If i had more time id love to make some halloween themes but i already spent most of my time on our last xmas theme lol
I usually try to make the Halloween parties at a buddies house. Halloween is a great time to get lucky if you know what I mean, Last Halloween I met up with a nice little green M&M. But this halloween Ill be hanging here at the house giving out candy. Some times we go all out with the decorations, home made full size animatronics, strobes and sounds but we got a late start this season so just basic decorations.

Acutaly thats not entirely true, the tradition started in Europe and although it has not been popular in the recent past it is quickly gaining popularity in just about every euro country, even in France. But most do not use the name HALLOWEEN, each place has its own name for the holiday including us Americans, we are just celebrating a Euro Holiday and have our own name for it and some of our own adopted traditions, the style is ours but its not an American Holiday.
all the celebrations either involve welcoming the dead spirits back to the living world for a day or scarring the evil ones away.
France celebrates All Saint's Day and people dress up and trick or treat,.
Its big in Ireland and Scotland (Samhain Nigh),
Halloween has become increasingly popular in The Netherlands, Germany, and Austria
Halloween in Romania is celebrated around the myth of "Dracula" on October 31. In Transylvania and especially in the city of Sighişoara, there are many costume parties, for teenagers and adults, that are created from the US model.
In Denmark children go trick-or-treating
South and central america kids go trick or treating
American Halloween is becoming very popular in Japan for all ages, costumes and carved pumpkins and the whole 9 yards but not trick or treating.
Philippines and Mexico have day of the dead from Oct 31 to Nov 2.
I believe Canada celebrates Halloween
Sweden, Italy and Switzerland dislike the holiday because they see it as an American Import and I guess they are not big on Americans, but hell we got the French to come around lol
Wikipedia even mentioned similar type celebrations with Christian Arabs in the middle east.

Look, I am European and no matter the source there isn't HALLOWEEN, yes we have similar days, in my country we have the "Carnaval" it is very similar but it is February.
Are we going to ask Hobbs to change the theme according to our countries day? I understand your point but you have to see my point of view this is an international community. _________________________________________________________

1. I was curious if he had planned on anything, I did not ask or push anyone to do shit.
2. The info I posted was to answer a question asked by someone in the forum, not to argue for or persuade someone to do anything.
