Tokyo Indie Games Summit 2024: A Celebration of Indie Game Development in Japan Returns in 2024

After a successful 2023 showcase featuring fan-favorite titles such as Meg's Monster by Odencat and Nyaaaanvy by Team DigitalMind, TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT returns to the highly-creative city of Kichijoji, Tokyo for a second year of connecting indie developers, artists and the general public in a celebration of gaming, anime, music and upcoming indies.

Submissions of games for both in-person booths and remote exhibitor opportunities are now open until December 4th, 2023. All developers are encouraged to submit their work - be it unannounced titles, games in Early Access, released titles with upcoming DLC or just games looking to join the Tokyo INDIE GAMES SUMMIT Steam sale.

Sponsorship opportunities, including booths and in-person as well as digital logo placement options at multiple support levels are available. For more information, contact the TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT administrative office.

“The indie gaming and art space are intertwined, and it’s been our goal to connect these communities under one roof for a celebration of both disciplines,” said Azusa Kawamura, member of the TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT Organizing Committee. “Last year’s event was met with great fanfare, and we are using that momentum to increase our offerings to both communities. We have exciting things in store coming this March, and look forward to reviewing this year’s submissions!”

TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT would like to thank last year’s sponsors who helped make the event possible, including Bandai Namco, Cygames, Happinet, Sacra Music, Kids Station, PlayStation, Phoenixx, MyDearest, Universal Sigma Games, TokyoFM, Acquie, Mebius, Mr. Gamehit, Mobb, Outright Games, PQube, Sapporo, Warner Music Japan, Bitsummit, Gyaar Studio, IGN Japan, and many more.
