German Claims M# stole his cooling solution

Let me first show you his design and explain it, best I can from the picture provided.

Alright he built a shroud, with a fan on the intake side. Im not even sure he has chambers that split the air between the cpu heatsink, and the gpu heatsink. Which I would do regardless. It looks like its all being pushed to the gpu heatsink. So it actually hinders the cpu heatsinks ability to draw as much air as it would. This shroud is big and blocky and blocks quite a bit of air access to the cpu. Microsofts solution is more open ended, thus allowing more airflow to be moved over the cpu then his solution.

Now microsoft just modded the gpu heatsink and added an attachment with a single heatpipe to a grill. I think their design is flawed as well. Theres no fan to intake any fresh air from outside the case to push over the two heatsinks. So its a trade off if you ask me, you cool the gpu, at the expense of the cpu.

Furthermore what else could microsoft do, thats as cost effective as thier current solution. I think this guy is full of it.

Feel free to discuss your thoughts and oppions in this thread.
